NEUTRAL CAPITAL COLLECTION I

Like art holdings from other well known financial institutions such as Citi Bank, UBS, and

Deutsch Bank - Neutral Capital has been using its surplus cash to acquire artworks for its

collection.

All artworks acquired for the collection are made possible by exchanging an equal value of

the art currency Neutral Capital for a given artwork. The sales price of each artist’s work in

Neutral Capital is based on the current exchange rate against the US Dollar. Currently 50

Neutral Capital is equivalent to 1 US Dollar as determined by the last selling price of a full

case of 200,000 Neutral Capital.

The Neutral Capital bill is printed on paper from a collage that includes artwork from over

fifty failing world economies.  Editions of Neutral Capital first debuted with the Swiss

Institute of Contemporary Art at the 2005 Armory Show in New York.

At the Armory, collectors bought full editions of Neutral Capital and shopped with it a

various participating galleries.

Of the original six editions three were sold at the 2005 Armory. Thus leaving an additional

surplus for Peter Simensky to invest in the Neutral Capital Collection. The collection is

intended to be a process work growing continually and having the opportunity to be on view

on multiple occasions.

The collection will be mobile - fitting into a single art crate which will unfold into a self-

contained gallery space with walls for painting, drawing, and photography, a monitor with

DVD library, and platforms and sites for sculpture and installation.
